I am confused about the sentence below in Environmental issue, LEED Sustainable Sites Credit 5.1- Site Development: Protect or Restore Habitat. Can anyone explain to me, please? Isn't 40ft including the 25ft constructed areas? "15 ft beyond roadways" means if there is construction of roadway in front of my house, I can disturb the area of 15 ft (each side) beyond constructed area? same 10ft beyond walkways?

Any help will be apprecited.
